THEATRE MAKER, CREATIVE ARTIST IN RESIDENCE AND CREATIVE COPYWRITER
What links my three passions? Understanding audiences and understanding them well.
As I stepped on stage at the ripe age of 8, reciting Shakespeare with a fervent passion well beyond my years, I knew my life was destined to be one of creative expression, poetry and making other people feel important.
Working as a theatre maker, a creative writing teacher and being gifted the opportunity to work as a Creative Artist in Residence in the Duncairn Arts Centre, Belfast, taught me so much about the world of creativity, the magic of human beings and the possibilities that open up to you when you tap into a unique perspective.
I saw what great writing could bring to our world.
I started to realise that the corporate world, the business world and our world of passionate entrepreneurs was filled with language and communication that lacked creative vision.
It lacked bravery.
It lacked the art of storytelling.
I started to ask myself a crucial question.
“What would happen, if we balanced strategy with some soul? How can creative language transform corporate communication? How can I share my love for words and creative outlook with impassioned entrepreneurs that are searching for something more?”
And so, Aoibh Johnson Creative was born.
